Kiwi Vision was brought in at a critical point for the project. With the pre-fabricated steel trusses completed, set out and height checking services were needed to install these in the right location.

Topographical Survey

Kiwi Vision carried out detailed grid setout work across the site, determining the exact locations where each prefabricated steel truss would be installed. This groundwork allowed construction teams to assemble the structure efficiently and with extra confidence.

Resource Consent – Scheme Plan

Throughout the build, our team performed height checks to verify elevations and confirm alignment with the project’s design specifications. These measurements supported accurate installation and reduced the likelihood of structural adjustments during construction.

The Result

The surveying support provided by Kiwi Vision played a key role in assembling the complex steel structure that underpins Snowplanet’s indoor ski facility. Snowplanet is now a popular destination for visitors of all ages, providing a reliable year-round skiing and snowboarding experience – engineered and designed such that guests of all skill levels can safely enjoy the snow.
